Engineering Ethics and Societal Responsibility

Sophia joined Sage in April 2020 as the Chief of Staff/Business Executive to the Chief Information Security Officer. Following this, Sophia transitioned to the role of Director of Cyber Security Awareness and Engagement, overseeing Sage's insider risk and security awareness and training programmes. After this, Sophia’s worked for the Sage’s Chief Technology Officer Aaron Harris and then moved into the Product Function Product Performance and Execution Director and since May, has led the Office of the Chief Product Officer for Walid Abu-Hadba, discharging the operational and strategic accountabilities for Walid as an Executive Leader at Sage, a FTSE100. Prior to her tenure at Sage, Sophia spent over a decade in central government in the House of Commons and the Cabinet Office across a range of teams in security, parliamentary policy and transformation. A long-term advocate of diversity, equity and inclusion, Sophia has created and run networks, events and initiatives aimed at supporting women and underrepresented groups into careers in security and technology across both the public and private sectors.
